How do I hear about an appointment?

You tell us what kind of care you need, roughly where you are and how much notice you can work with. When a clinic releases a matching slot, we text and email you straight away with the time, the place and the price.

How long do I have to decide?

Once you claim a slot it is held for you alone for five minutes while you pay. If you don't finish in that window it goes back out to everyone else waiting.

Can I book something weeks ahead?

Yes. Any genuinely free appointment a clinic releases can be claimed, whether it is this afternoon or next month. Most of what comes through is short notice, because that is when clinics have gaps.

Why didn't I get told about a slot I can see?

We only notify you about slots that match what you asked for: the type of appointment, the distance you're willing to travel and the notice you need. You can widen any of those in your account.

What does it cost me?

You pay the clinic's price for the appointment plus a £3 buyer protection fee. There is no subscription and nothing to pay for simply waiting to be matched.

What is the buyer protection fee for?

It covers holding your payment until after the appointment has happened. If the clinic doesn't honour the slot, we deal with it and return your money rather than leaving you to chase the clinic.

When does the clinic get paid?

Not immediately. Your payment is held until 24 hours after the appointment, or sooner if both you and the clinic confirm it went ahead. If something goes wrong, either side can flag it and the payout is frozen while we look at it.

What happens if I don't turn up?

Clinics set their own no-show and late-cancellation terms, which are shown on the slot before you claim it. If a clinic charges for a no-show, we take it from the card you saved.

Who are the clinics?

Private, self-pay UK clinics only. Each one is checked at sign-up: we take their regulator registration, photographs of the premises and their accreditation documents before they can release a single appointment.

Is this an NHS service?

Accepted Answer

No. Every appointment here is private and paid for by you. We have no connection to the NHS and nothing you do here affects an NHS referral or waiting list.

Can I use this in an emergency?

No. If it is an emergency call 999, and for urgent advice call 111. If you are struggling with your mental health, Samaritans are free on 116 123, day or night.

What do you do with my information?

We use your contact details and your stated preferences to match you to appointments and to tell you about them. Clinics see what they need in order to run the appointment, not your whole history.

Do I have to fill in the same forms at every clinic?

Accepted Answer

No, that is the point of the profile. You fill in your details once and, where a clinic has given us its intake form, we complete it for you and flag anything still missing.

Can I delete my account?

Accepted Answer

Yes, from your account settings, at any time. It removes your profile, preferences and match history.
